M∆RINE BOO† C∆MP

My Brother-in-law is in the Marines. He is currently making a book with his friend Paul about the history of the Marine Recruit Depot in San Diego. He has done done a tour in Iraq. My Dad was a Marine, he was in Vietnam. I still don't have a clear picture of what he did over there but from what I do know, I think it's better I don't. My Grandfather was in the Air Force, flew planes over Hiroshima and Nagasaki on security patrols right after we dropped the bombs. My family has a long history within the Armed Forces. It had always crossed my mind joining, but never happened. I know my Dad wouldn't want me to. Long story short I found myself at the Marine Recruit Depot in San Diego, a place I never really thought I would ever be. They needed some photos for their book, so I was stoked for the opportunity. It was almost surreal being down there and watching them train. It was an awesome experience and I have so much respect for those guys putting their lives on the line for us.

Ian and Lauren Engagement

I've known Ian since back in High School, he got me stoked on photography and helped me out along the way. When he asked me to shoot his wedding I was honored. Ian is a fashion photographer and does some rad work. Lauren is awesome as well and fun to hang with. In true style the wedding date is 10.10.10 at Condor's Nest Ranch. That naturally means there will be magic involved.

Kelley and Joey Engagement

Kelley and Joey are awesome. I photographed Kelley's Brother's wedding last year and it was a great time. Looking forward to their wedding. The wedding is being held at the amazing Condor's Nest Ranch in Pala. One of the most beautiful wedding locations I've seen. The ranch was designed by an apprentice of the Great Frank Lloyd Wright, one of my favorite architects.
